Asif Molla

Asif Molla was born in 1996 in Nawabpur, Hooghly district, where he spent his childhood and formative years. From his school days, he developed a habit of writing diaries, which gradually evolved into a strong interest in storytelling. He began his writing journey primarily through social media platforms, where he regularly shared his work across various forums. During this period, several of his short stories and poems were published in different anthologies.

In 2023, his supernatural novella Gourangapurer Jongole was published at the Kolkata Book Fair. In 2025, he released Benarasi, a collection of five short and long supernatural stories.

আসিফ মোল্লার জন্ম ১৯৯৬ সালে হুগলী জেলার নবাবপুরে। সেখানেই তাঁর শৈশব ও বেড়ে ওঠা। স্কুলজীবন থেকেই ডায়েরি লেখার অভ্যাস ছিল, যা ধীরে ধীরে গল্প লেখার আগ্রহে রূপ নেয়। লেখালেখির শুরু মূলত সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ার বিভিন্ন প্ল্যাটফর্মে। নিয়মিতভাবে তিনি একাধিক অনলাইন মাধ্যমে লেখা প্রকাশ করেছেন। এই সময়ে বিভিন্ন সংকলনে তাঁর লেখা গল্প ও কবিতা প্রকাশিত হয়।

২০২৩ সালের কলকাতা বইমেলায় প্রকাশিত হয় তাঁর ভৌতিক উপন্যাসিকা ‘গৌরাঙ্গপুরের জঙ্গলে’। এরপর ২০২৫ সালে প্রকাশিত হয় পাঁচটি ছোট-বড় অলৌকিক গল্প নিয়ে গঠিত সংকলন ‘বেনারসি’।
